Amy Romback | Owner/Founder
Amy is a mom of three, and Lansing Area Littles wouldn’t exist without her! Amy started Lansing Area Littles in Winter 2021, during a time when we were attempting to lift covid covid resrictions.
She saw and recognized that the days of the pandemic were very lonley and isolating and how much small businesses suffered during those times. So once resirctions were lifted, she had a goal and mission to bring Greater Lansing families together and connect them to our amazing local businesses by hosting playdates and events. Giving families the opportunity to have a first hand experience at what Greater Lansings local businesses have to offer.
What started off as a solo adventure planning playground playdates by herself, has grown to be loved by thousands of families and businesses across Greater Lansing and beyond. Now, four and a half years later, we are now a team of 20 local parents that hosts playdates across Greater Lansing everyday, reaching thousands of Greater Lansing families.
Alexis Anderson | Director
Alexis is a mom of one and has been with Lansing Area Littles since January 2023. She serves as the Lansing Area Littles first Director, assisting Amy with coordinating special events and working closely with local businesses that sponsor and support Lansing Area Littles. Before taking on the director’s position, Alexis led numerous playdates, including messy playdates, playground playdates, neurodivergent playdates, and stroller walks and splash pad playdates.
In her free time, Alexis enjoys crafts, shopping, reading, listening to true crime podcasts and watching documentaries, meeting up with friends at local coffee shops and restaurants, and going on day trips with her family.
Laura Brooks | Team Leader
Laura is a mom of two and has been with us since 2023. She recently took on the role of Team Leader, where she organizes our monthly event calendar and stays in touch with each of our team members to ensure everything runs smoothly. Laura also leads our very popular coffee meet-ups and Tummy Time & Tot parties!
Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, Laura worked as an elementary special education teacher.
Megan Villasurda | Team Engagement Coordinator
Megan is a mom of two and has been with us since 2023. She is the owner of Dancy Pantz Boutique, where you can find all your dance, gymnastics, and fitness needs!
Megan hosts our adorable monthly dance classes at her business, Dancy Pantz, and also plans fun events each month for our team. She helps keep everyone connected and engaged.
